About Coach

From a very young age I was always involved in team sports, eventually focusing on field hockey and softball. After graduating college, I really missed being part of a team and the sense of community that it provided. I was introduced to CrossFit in 2014 and immediately fell in love with it! While it was pretty intimidating to walk into the gym for the very first time, I quickly found a group of people who were welcoming, supportive, and best of all, held me accountable. I was fortunate enough to work with some amazing coaches at CrossFit Threefold who enabled me to workout throughout my third pregnancy and in fact, my last prenatal workout was one day before delivering my third son! CrossFit and my CrossFit Threefold “family” changed my life and now as a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer I am inspired to help others in the same way!

Turning Point

I am the mother to 3 amazing little boys and while I absolutely adore being their mom, at one point, I lost track of myself. I had put all of my time and energy in to caring for them and their needs that I forgot to take care of myself. Shortly after having my second son and found and fell in love with the sport of CrossFit and it absolutely changed my life. I was feeling down about my new and unwelcome “mom bod” and was looking for a way to lose weight, get healthy, and to regain a focus on myself. I was in the gym working everyday to try and get back to where I was before being pregnant. However, I wasn’t seeing the results that I was hoping for and some days it felt like kids, family, and life just took over. It wasn’t until I really focused in on my nutrition AND working out consistently that I started to see real results. In total I lost 65 pounds and never felt better…I have more energy then ever before, tasks of daily living (especially with 3 very active little boys) are much easier, and I feel good about myself! I am walking proof that anyone can do this, all you need to do is show-up!

Motivation & Passion

There are many reasons that I am passionate about coaching but first – it sets me on FIRE. Everything about coaching lights a spark in me. I love seeing wins every day, I thrive on watching people improve themselves, and I am inspired by the amount of hard work I see around me day in and day out. Seeing the changes that people make after coming to the gym and intentionally improving their life and lifestyle is nothing short of magical. Being able to be a part of that change is something I will always be grateful for. Coaching is a passion for me – plain and simple. I love coaching, and I love helping others improve.
