Climbed my first rope at CrossFit Threefold!
ACE Group Fitness Instructor Certification.
My journey in fitness started at age 16 when I got on my first treadmill. I was someone who had a lot of energy and not a lot of outlets, so experiencing my first runners high at that age changed everything for me. I started running outside and using my bike to travel around my town. I then started looking around at local gyms and fell in love with group fitness. I participated in all different types of classes and started thinking about how fun it would be to lead classes myself. I then started working at gyms while I studied to get my ACE Group Fitness Instructors certification and finally put my what-ifs into action. I got to create my own classes and connect with members which was great for me. I loved being able to excite and energize people during their fitness journeys. I like to inspire and get people feeling good about themselves and I'll always choose to be part of the fitness industry because I get to do that.
A huge turning point in my life was when I realized how much time I spent feeling anxious. I needed an outlet that was healthy and made me feel better about my life and I found that when I first stepped on to the treadmill. Something so simple spiraled me into a much healthier version of myself and inspired me to learn more about exercise and nutrition which then led the people closest to me to ask me for advice, guidance, and motivation. I loved knowing that I was the friend and sister who knew how to get people to move more and make healthier choices.
My purpose in coaching is to be another set of eyes for those who see only their flaws. To be a source of motivation for those who don't have many people, if any, to cheer them on. To give people options they may not see. To make people excited about progress and growth. And really to be an all-around cheerleader for the people who might be a little low on hope and energy
