I’ve developed strong, technically sound Olympic lifts, something I take pride in given my background starting from a more “skinny” baseline.
CrossFit Level 1
Coach
I grew up in movement, starting as a dancer and eventually becoming a competitive cheerleader, with some experience in gymnastics along the way. While I loved the performance side of those sports, I was always drawn to the conditioning behind it all: the strength, discipline, and mental grit it took to improve.
That passion followed me into adulthood, and in 2019 I found CrossFit. From my very first class, I was hooked. It challenged me in ways I hadn’t experienced before, both physically and mentally, and pushed me to grow beyond what I thought I was capable of. Through CrossFit, I’ve built a level of confidence and resilience that has carried over into every area of my life.
What drives me most now is not just training, but learning. I love being a student of the methodology, understanding the “why” behind what we do, and using that knowledge to help others grow. Coaching allows me to share that journey, support others in building their own confidence, and remind them that progress looks different for everyone, but it’s always worth pursuing.
A major turning point in my life came when I realized that my struggle wasn’t just physical, it was deeply rooted in internal doubt and how I saw myself. For years, I battled body image issues and believed that being smaller or “skinnier” was the key to feeling happy, confident, or enough. I often felt small and weak, both physically and mentally, and that mindset shaped how I showed up in my life.CrossFit became the thing that challenged that narrative head-on. Through training, I discovered that strength—not size—is what truly changed how I see myself.
Over time, I stopped chasing being smaller and started chasing being stronger. That shift didn’t just change my fitness, it changed my identity. I learned that confidence doesn’t come from shrinking yourself, but from building yourself, and that realization has shaped not only who I am today, but the coach I’ve become.
My purpose for coaching is to help people who doubt themselves discover what they are truly capable of. I’m especially passionate about serving the individuals who often feel overlooked—the “non-athletes,” the beginners, the people who are afraid to try, or those who believe they are too old or too out of shape to feel good in their own skin.
My motivation comes from showing them that those beliefs are not facts, and that they are far more capable than they’ve been led to believe. I want my athletes to experience what it feels like to surprise themselves, to build strength they didn’t think was possible, and to develop confidence that carries far beyond the gym.
